Q :Why must I pay to park my bike in a Motosafe when other types of bike parking are free (in some areas)?
A :The motosafe is a totally secure bike parking solution.
Parking your bike in a motosafe means that not only is your bike totally secure but you also have somewhere secure to store leathers and other gear. It also means no-one can intefere with your bike or steal parts from it.
Other types of bike security cannot prevent your bike being taken away in the back of a van.

How do I choose a PIN Number?
A :
You choose any 4 digit number that you can most easily remember.
Provided you enter the same number when entering or leaving the Motosafe, the unit will operate.

Q :
Do I have to use the same PIN Number every time I use a Motosafe?
A :
No, the Motosafe clears the PIN Number after every cycle of use.
The important thing is to use a PIN Number that you can remember easily.

Q :If I enter a PIN Number, will the Motosafe open?
A :No. You must first choose how long you want to use the Motosafe and put in coins/notes equal to this amount of time. After you have done this, enter your chosen PIN and the unit will open.
Q :Why must I put in money before the unit will open?
A :Each Motosafe remains dormant until needed - it is only when the unit receives cash that it wakes up and is ready to accept your chosen PIN Number.
Q :What happens if I use the Motosafe for longer than I planned?
A :Do not worry - the unit won't open until your chosen 4 digit PIN and the correct fee amunt activates it for the time used. Your bike and gear are secure until you return. If you enter your PIN and you have stayed longer than planned, the Motosafe will not open until you put in the extra amount of money needed for your longer stay.
Q :What happens if I forget my PIN?

Provided you answer these questions correctly, our staff can give you access to your PIN number.

Q :How are the charges set for using the Motosafe?
A :The charges set for using a Motosafe are set by the operator, not Motosafe Ltd.
Charges reflect the popularity of the destination where the Motosafe is located and the convenience of being able to store your bike and all gear safely until you return.

Q :What happens if the door accidentally closes when I am inside a Motosafe?
A :Each Motosafe has internal lighting.
There is a foot-operated pedal inside the unit at the bottom of the door that will open the unit at all times.

Q :How can I tell if a Motosafe empty?
A :An empty Motosafe has a green indicator on the control panel. If a Motosafe is occupied, the indicator will show red.
